Last updated: August 22, 2026

This policy explains how personal data shared with the “Rise Anew” campaign is processed and protected.

1. Data controller

The “Rise Anew” campaign, promoted by CEMS Club Bogotá with the support of CEFA, is responsible for the personal data collected through this website. Contact: a.barbosam@uniandes.edu.co (Andrés Felipe Barbosa Mendoza).

2. Data we collect

This website does not capture, process or store card or payment-method data. Payment data is collected and processed exclusively by WhyDonate B.V.

We may receive the name, email address and donation amount that a donor chooses to share through WhyDonate, plus any information sent voluntarily by email.

3. Purpose of processing

Data is used to acknowledge donations, respond to inquiries and claims (PQRs), send campaign progress and execution reports, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with third parties other than the payment platform and the beneficiary when strictly necessary for the purposes above.

4. Donor rights

Under Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulatory decrees, donors may access, update, rectify or delete their data, revoke consent, and file complaints before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.

To exercise these rights, write to a.barbosam@uniandes.edu.co. Requests are answered within the legal terms.

5. Retention and security

Data is retained only for as long as needed for the campaign's purposes and applicable legal obligations, and is protected with reasonable technical and organizational measures.
